Enable Futures is operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a Food Quality Systems Administrator (Food Industry) & (PART TIME 3 DAYS PER WEEK) to work based in Cheddar, Somerset UK.

Package: Competitive basic salary + 20 days holiday + your birthday off + health care scheme + other company benefits (pro-rata).

Working Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week 0900 - 1700.

Supporting the UK and overseas businesses to manage key food safety systems, drive continual improvement and strengthen food safety culture. This will include supporting systems related to management reviews, internal audits, non-compliance, concessions etc. for the maintenance of external certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal Audit Team Leader – define annual schedule, select auditors, arrange training and approval processes
  • Follow-up internal audits to successful closure
  • Support the HACCP Team
  • Develop and maintain updates to the internal processes and procedures for a robust FSMS
  • Design and advise of new processes/procedures to deliver continuous improvement to the FSMS
  • Support internal teams with updating customer manuals to ensure compliance
  • Support KPI Reporting within the department
  • Keep up to date with changes to UK and EU legislation and advise the business management of impact where necessary
  • Scan FSA and RASFF alerts data for significant events
  • Determine internal technical training needs for key personnel
  • Deliver training or arrange for training to take place
