All you need to apply is a driving licence, the ability to commit to staying overnight in a hotel four nights per week (all expenses covered) and keen on a hands-on role to develop a successful career!Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a permanent Trainee Heating & Boiler Servicing Engineer based in Tiverton, Devon, covering clients' work across the UK for a market-leading heating & energy company. Our client's head office is based in Tiverton, Devon, but you can be based anywhere, ideally from Somerset & Devon.

The annual salary starting for training is £20,000 - £22,000 PA, dependent on experience. The salary will continue to grow with your experience and ability. A very competitive salary is paid ongoing with annual reviews and career progression in vast amounts. The working hours are Monday to Friday (40-hour week) with some overtime and night overstays.So why join our client? You won't work alone; you will join a team at your disposal onsite, allowing you to complete the job to your standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintenance of boilers Nationwide.
  • Undertaking works as required for maintenance contracts.
  • Support the technical manager.
  • Assist clients and the Aftersales team with technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues and attend breakdowns.
  • Ensuring all H&S processes and procedures are adhered too.
  • Compile servicing reports and adhering to a high standard of paperwork.
  • Assist the installation team as and when required.
  • Working away during the week when required.

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

  • Previous experience or interest in hands-on work.
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Ability to proactively work and contribute as part of a team as well as the ability to work under your own initiative.
  • Effective skills in planning, organising and prioritising personal workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, other trades and clients.
  • Microsoft office suite.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • Full Driving License.
