Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a Software Developer (HYBRID) for a privately owned, innovative, market-leading software solution organisation. Who provide a portfolio of document-related services to a broad customer base, including the NHS, Local Government and a variety of Commercial organisations across the UK!

The location of the office is Wellington, Somerset.The hours are 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch). This role offers a hybrid working model with a Monday and Friday working from home. Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday you will be based in the office. The annual salary is Circa £40,000 - £45,000 PA.

Working in the Research and Development team you will be building and maintaining releases of our applications to specification. This will involve anything from creation of new functionality to bug fixes and you will work closely with the testing team in order to get applications to full release status. Initially you will work on internal tools, web based products and APIs while training. As you progress you will get involved in the full Prism suite of applications and gain knowledge of C++ and Microsoft Foundation Classes as well as many other technologies including the latest cloud products from Azure and AWS. The roles & responsibilities for this position will evolve over time as you gain more experience.

Outstanding Package:

  • The working hours are 8.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday (40 hours).
  • The annual salary is £35,00 - £45,000 PA.

Key Responsibilities:

Adding new features according to specification.Delivering high quality software.Review pull requests.Build and maintain web based and API based systems.Responding to internal queries about software functionality.Providing an expert technical resource to internal teams.Implementing and testing upgrades to 3 rd party libraries.Internal tool creation.
