Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a permanent Senior Finance Assistant based in Bridgwater, Somerset.The annual salary is Circa £30,000 - £32,000 PA DOE.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week), with 2 days per week to be worked in the office in Bridgwater, the remainder can be worked remotely or at the office.
Accounts Payable:· Management and validation of invoices for several Companies, processing of payments and reconciliation of creditor balances (for several Companies).· Credit card expense analysis and reconciliations.Accounts Receivable:· Raise Inter-Company invoices and chase settlement.· Raise regular and ad-hoc Customer marketing invoices.Banking:· Process bank account entries and reconcile bank accounts (multi-currency).· Maintain cash forecasts of purchase ledger payments and cash receipts to ensure sufficient funds in correct currencies are available.Other:· Balance Sheet reconciliations.· Managing and paying the twice-monthly Partner/Affiliate payment run and responding to queries received via Sales Account Manager.· Liaise with other Accountants monthly.· Completion of quarterly VAT Returns for UK and Overseas companies.· Pay monthly salaries and record in each company.· Month-End Reporting (for several companies) within set deadlines.· Assisting with Year End Closing.· Cover for other team members during sickness and holidays.· Ad hoc duties as required and delegated by the Finance Manager/Financial Controller.
Experience, attributes & skills sought:Are you competent at reviewing Profit and Loss accounts & Balance Sheet reconciliations.Qualified by experience or AAT.Prior experience in a similar role.If you aren’t able to review Profit and Loss accounts & Balance Sheet reconciliations, then your CV wouldn’t be submitted to the client.
