We are hiring an experienced ResidentialConveyancing Property Lawyer! You would be joining one of the fastest-growing high street law firms in the South West! Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a Remote Residential Conveyancing Property Lawyer with the office based in either Shepton Mallet or Knowle, BS4, Bristol. Joining a modern paperless team going through an exciting time of growth!

They can only do what they their staff to feel engaged and valued. Following the growth of the business they are now looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Property Lawyer! 

 

The working hours are 9.00am–5.00pm Monday-Friday (hour lunch). The annual salary is Circa £30,000 - £40,000 PA DOE. The role is offered remote working 90% from home, with the office is in Shepton Mallet or Knowle, BS4 Bristol to work from 10% of the time. 

 

Weare looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to work within an environment that allows you to enjoy working within a busy ResidentialConveyancing department whilst also understanding the pressures of working within such a department. We are looking for the person that understands how important a modern approach and structure to conveyancing is when providing services to our clients and 3rd parties. We use up to date, and developing, legal technology so we are looking for some who wants to be part of this modern approach. We expect the successful candidate to be a specialist in Property Law and confident dealing with all the legal matters surrounding the buying and selling of property, advising clients on all aspects of the buying and selling process, including legal issues, finances, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining     the Case Management Workflow and Key Stages ensuring these are run when     due, thus ensuring all parties are sent real time updates
  • To     complete tasks competently and within defined timescales to stay in line     with Service Level Agreements
  • Maintaining     and checking Due Diligence and Risk Assessments in line with the firms’     policies
  • Providing     legal guidance and support to our clients
  • Assisting     the Exchange & Completions Team with any queries
  • Maintaining     an adequate and up to date knowledge of the law and practice through your     own CPD and training course allocated to you by the Head of Recruitment     and Staff Training & Development
  • Ensuring     compliance with the firms’ policies and procedures
  • Being a     point of contact with clients with excellent communication levels
  • Any     other reasonable duties as directed by your Head of Department

 

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

  • Fully     qualified Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Minimum     2 years’ experience working within a busy residential conveyancing team as     an established Fee Earner
  • To be     able to work to a high standard and possess a fine attention to detail and     to be organised and efficient whilst working under pressure
  • Excellent     communication skills both written and verbal
  • High     standards of client care with a professional and pleasant manner
  • Strong     business development skills
  • Strong     understanding of legal technology and how that can be used and integrated     into a conveyancing department
  • Strong     interest in helping support and develop junior members of staff
  • Being     involved in the development of the firms culture
  • Excellent     IT skills to work in an innovative and forward-thinking law firm
