We are hiring an ambitious and experienced family lawyer!

Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a Remote Family Lawyer with the office based in either Shepton Mallet or Knowle, BS4, Bristol. Joining a modern and paperless firm going through an exciting time of growth!

They want their staff to feel engaged and valued. Following the growth of the business they are now looking to recruit an experienced Family Lawyer who can continue to grow the Family Law business.

The working hours are 9.00am–5.00pm Monday-Friday (hour lunch). The annual salary is Circa £35,000 - £45,000 PA DOE. The role is offered remote working from home 90%, your local office in either Shepton Mallet or Knowle, BS4 Bristol 10% of the time.

The successful applicant will have experience in handling a broad case load of Family matters and will have the ambition to grow the department with experience of managing a team and working collaboratively with the head of department as well as on your own to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal with a mix case load of matters to include, but not limited to, divorce, financial matters, private and public children matters and cohabitation disputes.
Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing court documents such as pleadings or witness statements.
Liaising with a variety of other professionals including psychologists, doctors, social workers, and police officers.
Act as a team leader for future junior members of the team.
Teach, guide, and improve junior members of the team to develop their skills and experience.
Business develop with the Head of Family Law as well as working autonomously to grow the Family law side of the business.

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Family Law.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
Must be skilled in negotiation, debate and persuasion techniques.
