The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00-5pm & Friday 8.30–3pm. The annual salary is very competitive and dependant on experience.
Our client, a successful Electronics Manufacturing company based in Bridgwater is looking to appoint a full time highly skilled PCB Assembly Technician to assist a busy team in their manufacturing department.
Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years’ experience & awareness of IPC.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCB Assembly (SMT & PTH).
- Component Forming.
- Hand Soldering.
- General Housekeeping.
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
- To be considered for this PCB Assembly Technician opportunity, you must be educated to a reasonable level (GCSE English and Math). An IPC-A-610 qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience of working within a similar role or electronics manufacturing environment is vital.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks.
- Able to work effectively to deadlines.
- Demonstrates proactive approach.
- Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Must be able to work within a team.
- Communicate clearly with all staff members.
