Enable Futures is operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a Junior HR Business Partner / HR Advisor to join a tech industry leader at an exciting time of growth near Radstock, Somerset!
The working hours are 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday (40 hours & Hybrid Working) with an hour lunch. An annual salary of Circa £30,000 PA. This role enables you to work remotely from home 60% and office-based 40%.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR, with good knowledge of L&D. The role will provide a front face for all our employees, championing our cultures and values. Assisting in the execution of employee standards and procedures, and in the monitoring, compliance, administration and reporting of Learning &Development activities, and where necessary in the improvement of internal standards. We are eager to find a Junior HR Business Partner to connect with our people and wants to work with us to develop our Learning & Development offer to match the changing nature of our business and the training and development needs of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a front face to all our employees, championing our culture and values.
- To ensure compliance by monitoring and implementing training where necessary.
- Provide a training service.
- Assisting in investigations, hearings and grievances as required.
- To identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including development systems and system development.
- Responding to the training needs of the workforce; as identified by management during the course of day to day working, or as a result of the appraisal process.
- Support departments in the development of their teams.
- Plan, monitor, and appraise L&D activities by scheduling meetings with department managers.
- Coaching and training managers in leadership skills as necessary.
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
- Update and amend the Training Manuals on request.
- Assist in HR activities as necessary, including administration duties.
- To complete monthly training reports.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion.
Skills Attributes and Experience Sought:
- CIPD Level 5 in HR, L&D or working towards this, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in human resources or Learning & Development.
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
- Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Knowledge of HR policies and systems.
- Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience working in HR.
- Detail-oriented and organisational nature.
- Experience working with IRIS Cascade a plus.
- A full clean Driving licence is desirable.
