Enable Futures is operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for an IT Service Desk Manager to join a tech industry leader at an exciting time of growth near Radstock, Somerset!

We’re hiring an experienced IT Service Desk Manager - you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of support services, including the maintenance of hardware and software. You will help in developing the Service Desk Analysts to ensure they meet expectations regarding performance. The working hours are 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (Hybrid Working) with an annual salary is competitive. The role enables you to work remotely 60% and office-based 40%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The production of management information relating to the Service Desk performance.
  • Training employees with software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support.
  • Provide regular communications to the client base in regard of services.
  • Ensure a high quality of service and support.
  • Maintain all standard operating procedures relating to the Service Desk.
  • Ticket management – to include incidents, change and new requests as expected.
  • Completing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring maintenance plans are up to date.
  • Manage and coordinates urgent support issues, liaising with other internal IT functions.
  • Manage the immediate technical support for all IT applications and services.
  • Develop an effective and workable framework for managing, and improving, customer IT support in the organisation.
  • The training & coaching - Service Desk Analysts.
  • Responsible for all internal and external audits of the Service Desk area are completed.

Skills Attributes and Experience Sought:

  • Degree in technology or computer science or equivalent.
  • 4+ years’ experience in IT management.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation.
  • Analytical thinking & leadership skills.
