Would you like to join an office of an entrepreneurial high net worth Family. Where the Family Office looks after the personal financial affairs of various family members and the accounting and compliance for numerous Family financial interests. Due to growth a position has become available within the team as a Financial Administrator based in Sherborne, Dorset!The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 17.15pm (one-hour lunch break). The annual salary is £28,000 - £30,000 Per Annum. Due to the nature of the role, it is predominately office based, however, on occasions (post training/probationary period) working from home is an option at times.We are looking for candidates with solid proven experience in an administrative environment, ideally within the finance, legal or banking sectors.

You will be expected to:You will be responsible for but not limited to providing the following key areas of support:-       Working closely with our Operations Officer providing administrative and compliance support in respect of the Family and their corporate, personal and charitable interests.-       From time to time, you will be required to assist other members of the Senior Management Team as need arises.-       When not required by Senior Management you will work in support of the wider Finance Team, providing day to day operational admin support across a range of keys areas, a flavour of which is provided below:-       Creation of invoices and credit notes-       Preparation of online banking payments for payment approval and submission-       Undertake call backs to verify bank details as/when required-       Collation and filing (electronic and/or hardcopy) of financial information (i.e. investment reports, acquisition/disposal documentation, bank statements)-       Creation and maintenance of investment and loan files (electronic and/or hardcopy)-       Administration of tax relief claims for venture capital investments including maintenance of spreadsheet records to monitor progress of claims-       Support the end of year audit process with:Scanning of files followed by a detailed review.Collating and marking up of financial statement packs for signature.Post signature, checking all pages signed correctly prior to final archive scan.Archiving of completed year end audit files.-       Maintenance of the internal approval record system-       Provide support to the year-end archiving process-       Undertake adhoc project work as/when requiredWe are looking for an individual who:-       Has solid proven experience in an administrative environment, ideally within the finance, legal or banking sectors-       Can proactively prioritise their own work as this role deals with a high volume of information-       Has integrity, discretion and the ability to deal with confidential information-       Has excellent administration and communication skills (both written and verbal with attention to detail)-       Is tactful, diplomatic and approachable, with the ability to deal assertively with a wide range of people-       Has excellent IT skills, a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office with any experience of banking or accounting software being advantageous-       Is flexible and willing to learn-       Enjoys working on their own or as part of a wider team, being a team player is keyWhat we have to offer:
