Enable Futures is currently recruiting for a permanent Finance Assistant position on behalf of its client in Bridgwater, Somerset. The client is a successful company seeking to hire a full-time Finance Assistant to support the Financial Controller with financial transactions. This is a busy and varied role within a friendly team.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role or in various finance and accounting roles. The working hours for this position are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The annual salary is competitive and depends on experience, with a range of around £25,000.-£27,000 pa.
Key Responsibilities:
· Purchase Ledger- Including input of all supplier invoices onto Sage
· Liaising with the buying department and suppliers
· Sales Ledger
· Liaising with customers
· Bank Transactions and reconciliations
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
· Ideally a recent full working knowledge of SAGE (preferably Sage50).
· Previous experience in a similar role or a variety of accounting roles.
· A methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills.
· Confident verbal and written communicator.
· The ability to solve problems and take ownership.
