Enable Futures is operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a permanent Boiler Installation Engineer (Southwest & UK) to join a global market leader based in Tiverton, Devon. You can be based anywhere in the southwest, but able to collect materials from the Tiverton Devon site a few times per week. It would be best to be based either locally to Tiverton or north of Tiverton so that your starting journey doesn’t add additional commutes when travelling to UK-wide sites.


The work you will be involved with is working on client sites and some very interesting locations. You will work onsite on some large projects and work with a team to support you.


Permanent 40-hour week plus overtime, Salary circa £30,000-£40,000 PA. Hours: 40 hours per week plus some paid overtime.


Pension 22 days Holiday, Overnight expenses paid when working away.

Highly experienced in the design, supply, and installation of renewable energy technology. They pride themselves on delivering the right solutions for their ever-growing customer base. They are looking to expand the engineering department with the appointment of a Plumbing and Heating Installation Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

·         Undertake commercial boiler installations and project work on a national basis as per schematics and paperwork provided
·         Provide technical support to operations staff as required
·         Undertake detailed snagging lists and reports for commissioning, and assist with any parts lists if required
·         Troubleshoot issues, and faults and attend breakdowns
·         Provide detailed reports and further action for breakdowns, including parts lists if needed
·         Undertake servicing and maintenance of boilers when required
·         Provide technical feedback to customers on the telephone and through site attendance
·         Accurately assess parts and labour required for installs/servicing/breakdowns
·         Responsible for undertaking risk assessments for all site visits
·         Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations
·         Supervising any junior members of staff where applicable
·         Ensuring Health and Safety are adhered to onsite




Experience, attributes & skills sought:

·         Previous experience in a similar role and mechanical or electrical engineering

·         Full UK driving licence
·         Welding Experience – Desirable
·         Biomass Experience – Desirable
·         IPAF/PASMA licence – Desirable
